Do Something with Your Fitness

Training is not a means in itself. Rather, all training should be directed toward the accomplishment of objectives in the real world. The specificity of tasks performed outside the gym can never be replicated in an artificial environment. Fitness in a controlled environment is limited at best. The only way to truly determine one's capacity is to test it through real-world application.

The difference between exercise and training is grey for most, but clear to us. "Training" is directed and purposeful. "Exercise" is the aimless execution of movements in a way that is undefined, thoughtless, and unclear.

Real fitness implies commitment inside and outside the gym. We want to give you the opportunity to choose a competitive event and train for that event in a way that will prepare you fully for any and all variables, known and unknown. It will turn your exercise program into a genuine training program.

At first you will train to finish your event. Then you will train to finish in the top ten. Then you will train to win. Each level of accomplishment will spawn new goals and ideas, better ways to prepare, and a heighten sense of self-awareness. This is truly what life is all about.

For only when you step out of your own self-limiting thoughts in the pursuit of something tangible can you begin to realize you are capable of much more than you ever imagined.
