Philosophy on Exercise: Training is a truly spiritual practice, for it implies a commitment to an outcome worthy enough to pour yourself into. The physical components are obvious, but it' reach is potentially deeper and more profound. In it's true essence training is a medium for self-inquisition, a peek inside who you are. Worthy outcomes are typically the result of much more than good technique, beads of sweat upon the brow, and fatigue. More emphatically, the questions that are answered speak more to a deep drive that pushes you even when you feel like there's nothing left; to those brief moments of unabated presence with your Self where nothing else matters but finishing. If an individual can somehow find this place, dive head first into the fearless commitment to hurt a little to gain a lot, then there is no limitation to accomplishment in life or in sport.

Philosophy on Exercise: Go Primal!!! We are alive today because of the physical activities of our ancestors and if we want to continue to thrive mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually we need to stop looking at exercise as a choice and make it a way of life.

Birthplace: Denver, CO
Birthday: February 27, 1978
Credentials: Level III Trainer, LMT
Philosophy on Exercise: I was barely a teenager when I realized, "my body is the temple for my soul", and somewhere in my twenties I heard the statement, "we are all spiritual beings having a human experience." I believe that exercise and movement are essential factors in the exploration of life, and a way for the soul to shine through to the exterior world and experience all that living has to offer. Exercise is like a match that ignites the body as a whole - mentally, physically and spiritually.

Philosophy on Exercise: Excercise should look and feel like life. It should be both mentally and physically challenging. Every time you train, you should feel like you have pushed past yet another boundary, whether it's lifiting more weight or simply completing a workout in a faster time. Challenging yourself through exercise will make you better at life.
