We have all set out on personal journeys of self-inquisition and discovery. As we battle the conscious and unconscious declarations in our minds may we reflect on that which truly matters, namely becoming the best person we can become. For many this quest begins and ends with talk. Stroking the ego with mere words is easy, for it involves little more than an audience to listen. However, for those whose dedication is built upon the strongest of stones, talk is cheap. What you say matters very little compared to what you do. So in this mighty journey of self discovery and improvement may we seek paths of action over paths of talk. And may we find the self-repect and perserverance necessary to manifest our very best every moment of every day.

- I posted a new article called Mind Game. I believe it answers the all-important question "why?" Why must training be so hard? Why must you learn to embrace pain not fight it? Why must training be about much more than developing the body. It is a topic that deserves greater attention, but this article provides a nice introduction.
Athlete of the Week
Congratulations Rick Griffin. Mr. Consistency. Rick never misses training. He always arrives ready to go, focused, and eager to improve. I've watched him tackle challenge after challenge, sometimes victoriously other times not. After a long hiatus he came back to gym, struggled at first, but has worked himself into one of our finest athletes. Keep up the amazing work Rick.
