F.I.T. Certification
F.I.T. certification is a 500-hour hands-on training program to certify health care professionals as a Functional Integrated Therapist. F.I.T. dynamically integrates the principles of exercise and fitness with the techniques and disciplines of massage therapists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and nutritionists to more fully understand why clients have pain, limitations, and dysfunctions.
F.I.T. is the first and only certification of its kind in the United States and can effectively double your business by offering an integration of exercise, nutrition, and manual therapy into one practice.
Level I (Theory, Assessment, Corrective Strategies):
Expand your understanding of functional anatomy and physiology. Learn the comprehensive and dynamic role of the abdominal wall as it relates to kinetic chain function. Develop the skills to assess the abdominal wall, measure spinal curvatures, and test joint range of motion. Finally, gain practical experience and feedback as you design corrective exercise programs to address identified dysfunctions found in your evaluations.

Level II (Primal Pattern Training and Development):
Expound on earlier concepts and theories with more advanced program design strategies and methodologies to improve multiple facets of performance. This level offers tremendous insight into the origins of human movement as they relate to neuro-infant development and pre-pubescent motor programming. Exercise technique and progression are discussed in greater detail for the development of hypertrophy, strength, power, power-endurance and overall fitness.

Level III (Advanced Assessment Technique, Manual Therapy, and Advanced Programming Strategies):
The third and final level of the certification program offer expanded knowledge and understanding of assessment and joint pathologies. We recommend students have a license as a massage therapist, athletic trainer, chiropractor, or physical therapist to use the skills learned in this module in your practice.
